outage was pg&e's fault. it had something to do with an outside main current line that leads into the stadium. but the second outage is still under investigation. now, that contradicts what a spokesman for pg&e told me about three hours ago. he said that the second outage may have been pg&e's fault and that the first one may have been a city fault because it may have involved an auto switch that the city owns and operates. he said initially that the auto switch had not functioned properly but this morning, mayor ed lee said that auto switch had nothing to do with it and that the first outage had something to do with a faulty outside line leading into the stadium. as everyone knows, that first power outage happened just before 5:30 last night just before the kickoff. and power was restored within 25 minutes. the second was in the 2nd quarter around 6:45 and power restored by 7 p.m. a lot of fans were disappointed and a lot of them groaning at the power outage happening twice. here's what they had to say. >> i
