northbound is moving toward the philadelphia area. check out the drive time now from 55 headed up toward philly in the walt whitman bridge area. a five-minute trip. speeds still into the 60s. no problems right now out in new jersey roads. the schuylkill expressway looks great. now's the time to go if you're heading out the door. 12 minutes eastbound from the blue route to the vine. average speeds into the 60s there, as well. if you're out in center city, watch for that sinkhole on 17th street between walnut and locust. a portion of the road is closed now. it might be difficult for you to get through. of course right now it's still early. all roads around the area are very easy to move on by. take chestnut, any direction will be good. also watching bridges for single-lane traffic and construction over the burlington bristol. alternating lanes in both directions until sometime this morning. the ben franklin bridge and walt are nice and clear so far. updates when i come back, and the next will be in about ten minutes. >>> 4:38. right now
