right now pottstown is down to 19, 18 in doylestown and philadelphia's at 23 degrees. but parts of the city right at 20 degrees. roxborough, northeast philadelphia's 23, and right along the delaware river trail, 22 degrees right now. and the wind is blowing, not as strong as yesterday. it's down to 8 miles an hour in philadelphia, but when it's this cold, you don't need much wind to make it feel like it's in the teens. the windchill right now 14 degrees, 10 in trenton and 6 below in the pocono mountains. we'll see lots of sunshine today, but most of the morning will be in the 20s. it's only this afternoon that we'll see temperatures peak into the 30s. 30s for today and then clouds later on tonight are going to help us stay a bit warmer tomorrow. we'll see those clouds move in. don't expect to see any wet weather with those clouds, but it will keep temperatures warmer tomorrow before another round of cold air moves in on friday. but this weekend, things are changing in a big way. we'll see much warmer weather come our way over the weekend when there's a chance for some wet weather as well. t

the first one the european showing a coating to an inch just south of philadelphia in through parts of the city but then that one to three very close to philadelphia and then it really steps up. i do want to show you the gfs, another model that is not nearly as goodsy aggressive with the snow and this is also a possibility. we may go lighter with the snow in philadelphia and that 1 to 3-inch band going up close to allentown with the three to six beyond that. hoping for this because the less snow we get the less problems we have on the roads. the call we're going to go for now, though, we're going to prepare you for a general one to three falling during the afternoon and early evening in the i-95 corridor. this probably produces mainly wet roads but you'll want to take it slow when the snow is coming down. >>> the farther you step up into the northern and western suburbs the better chance of 3 to 6 inches and perhaps more compromised road conditions. for drivers i think it's rain changing to big wet flakes across most of the region during the morning and afternoon. that will reduce visibilities.

one demonstration would march from philadelphia's city hall to broad street and cecil b. ly. police tell us that they are ready to help keep people safe and protect property. >>> this morning, philadelphia police are looking for two men. one of them is wanted in a shooting. the other is responsible for hitting an officer with a car. that injured officer was treated for scrapes and bruises. the chain of events began late yesterday in north philadelphia. investigators tell us the officer was responding to reports of gunfire on north fairhill street. somebody shot a man there six times. that man is now in critical condition. then, right after the shooting, police say that the officer tried to stop the victim's friend from driving after the gunman. that's when police say the car struck the officer. the driver is now facing aggravated assault charges. >>> today, funeral services will be held for an army veteran killed in a deadly pile-up in burkes county. jeremy augustine died in the accident on allentown pike near reading on wednesday. a nurse from the area was also killed. po
