this is montgomery township dekalb pike and welsh road. so, though we only have a little bit of snow you can see it on the roadways at this point so you need to be careful as you're headed out. we just saw a salt truck go through this area so we saw a little more snow on the road earlier but at this point the roads that are treater are just wet but some of that snow kind of sneaking on the secondary roads so be careful as you're headed out. we have a few accidents one in lansdale on church road at east main street. light volume. a lot of people are off so that's helping the crews clear out anything we did have. we have a nasty accident in newtown square still causing problems at bryn mawr avenue right near route 3 west chester pike and the action cam was on the scene. this vehicle slid into the pole, brought the pole down. there you see the downed wires and then it sparked a vehicle fire so a horrible accident scene here at bryn mawr avenue. it remains closed near west chester pike. if you're in this area use main street or 252. the action

the woman was driving down columbia pike. she turns into this driveway thinking it's a parking lot possibly the gates are open. she goes down there, then something very shocking happens. >> she kept going, she didn't stop. >> reporter: stepping gingerly on one foot ahmad, a partner at the auto service on columbia pike spoke with us as he waited to be driven to the hospital. he said it happened just before 5:00. the suv driver scraped a car in the lot as she was turning around to leave. >> she didn't want to stop. she went over my leg and went over to my partner, she pushed him down and hit him with the car. >> reporter: the auto lot also housing a barber shop. it was filled with customers at the time. some used their phones to record the incident and showed the video to detectives. >> she was stopped there for what we think was about a minute. all of a sudden she hit the gas and knocked the gates out of the way. the problem was that the first individual who had already fallp was still laying on the ground so she ran over him.

"eyewitness news" reporter david spunt has traveled to pike county for us and he joins us with the very latest on the case now david? >> reporter: chris eric frein is back behind bars here in pike county right now the judge decided there is enough evidence for him to stand trial. we don't know exactly when that will be, but the the prosecutor is seeking the death penalty. a shackled eric frein said nothing as state police troopers escorted him out of the pike county courthouse late monday afternoon. he followed the late corporal brian dickson's widow and members of dickson's family. inside state troopers and the county coroner took the stand all recounted where they were september 12th when police shot to of their own killing dickson and injuring trooper alex douglass. in court the prosecution played surveillance video from inside the blooming grove barracks. on camera troopers pulled corporal dickson's body back in the building. alex douglass dragged himself across the lobby floor moments after he was shot. he is still least covering at home. >> it is a long road to recovery. he has su
