officers arrested three suspects in pittsburg in connection with the shooting. they are suspected in the shooting death of a man who was killed last friday night. so far police haven't released the suspect's name or possible motive for the shooting. >> we know it was an off duty police officer who shot a roper in oakland this morning around 2:00 a.m. investigators say the deputy was with a friend when the suspect came up, demanded money. the deputy fired and the suspect is in stable condition that hospital. he was carrying a replica gun. >>> a memorial at a 7-eleven where a store clerk was shot and killed over the weekend. the shooting happened early saturday morning inside the store which is located a quarter mile from the police department. >> the father who authorities say abducted his two kids and held them on a boat for days told a judge he was trying to save them from abuse. christopher maffei did not enter a plea this afternoon. christopher maffei told the judge his children were put right back in the place where they were being abused. he is being held o
