this happened at pittsfield dawndawn kendrick is live with new information. >> reporter: these stories are so hard. we are talking about a 22-month- old girl, a 23-month-old boy, cousins, not yet 2 years old. the call came at about 10:30 this morning and this is what we know now. it was from this home day care on west road, pitfield township, rural lorain county. police say someone who lives aboveground pool. this girl did not make it. the baby boy taken to life flight to rainbow babies at children's hospital in critical condition. both kids from the wellington area. police not sure yet how they ended up in that pool. there was, however, a fence and a gate around the deck but the police aren't sure if it was secured. no charges filed. we did speak to a man there at that day care noticeably upset, tragic on all fronts. we are going to continue follow this and check in on that baby at rainbow babies and children's hospital. reporting live from the lorain county sheriff's department, channel 3 news. >> thank you very much, dawn. >>> the hunt continues for the men who shot two young girls
