the storm brought blizzards to the west...and flooding to the middle and plain states. in oklahoma they have both flood and blizzard warnings! that storm is hitting the northeast right now bringing snow to the boston area and new monitoring a low pressure system within the pacific northwest looking to drop south through the next several days. for now, southern nevada is dealing with cold air being filtered in from behind the weak front that past over head about 26 hrs ago. mainly sunny skies will be common today with high temperatures only reaching into the low 50s. winds will be mild; ranging between 5 and 10 mph which should yield a slight wind chill 40s this afternoon. tonight and the next several nights, lows will fall to freezing within the valley. by thursday (new years eve), the low being watched to the northwest looks to interact with the valley. heavy moisture and upper level push will stay to the north of clark county so chances for rain or snow will be lacking what will not be lacking is the wind. 10 to 20 mph sustained winds will be common through the celebr
