i have been appreciative of supervisor mirkarimi's leadership in reducing the number of plastic bags. when i leave san francisco, i feel it is very backwards when i get all the plastic containers from other stores. why were we limiting the amount of days that they can give away the bags? i don't want to discourage stores from giving away bags sold i just question the restriction. >> i want to say thank you. good feedback and i think that we have borrowed a lot of time. we will be more than happy to review the information because we are not alone even though san francisco is not only the first city in the country but the first to do this. many took our example and it has been done with much more vigorous laws. the ft assessments are minimally 25 cents on average. it is good that san francisco try to keep pace with what is happening. >> i want to appreciate the extra time that we will have to evaluate this item. there is the use of reusable plastic bags. we have seen these pop up in response to the previous ban on plastic bags. just a question about what we are seeing for that trend. >>
