that's coming through the east shore freeway, heading towards macarthur maze and the bay bridge toll plazas like from our view and our dash cam. you can see a lot of cars headed towards the bay bridge toll plaza. and through the macarthur maze. we have the windshield wipers goin, but it hasn't been too bad. and overall there haven't been that many cars on the roads, so we haven't encountered any big crashes or problems. we've seen them and i've been monitoring them on the chp dispatch log, but not in the areas where we happen to be. we've been kind of chasing them and haven't encountered anything. well, actually, you almost saw a crash. there is that car almost merged into the lane right next to us. but overall, i'd say the drivers we've seen at least on the road, have done a good job of keeping it slow, being a little more cautious. people have their headlights on, which, as you know, is the law in california, if you have your windshield wipers on, you also have to have your headlights on as well. and overall, it seems like the morning commute maybe isn't as in bad of shape as it was yest

the backup is filling in the toll plaza and they're slowing down through richmond out of pinole for westbound 80. typical for the eastes for highway 37 or highway four. we do see a little slowing on 242. again, the build through concord typical about this time we still have the disabled vehicle reported on vasco at los vaqueros, but not a big issue. the big issue is west 580. we're down to two lanes at springtown and so that is jamming you up out of the altamont pass in through livermore. there is a new crash south 680 at or around stoneridge. the earlier issues cleared up. and now that crash is more slowing back to you. thanks, mike. well, happening now we will likely see spending for the city of oakland. some cuts there, some limits on that because city leaders are expected to discuss a $93 million budget shortfall at a meeting later this morning. the deficit is due to a delay in revenue from coliseum cell and department overspending, specifically on public safety, contingency budget plan recommends making cuts to some vital services like fire and police departments. union leaders yesterday held a rally opposing th
