we did see the freezing rain up in the poconos this morning. some significant freezing rain, and as expected it was not an issue in the lehigh valley, berks county, down to the south, it was warm enough it was just rain, nasty rain, heavy rain at times, then it moved out and that's the end of the rain, but the temperatures have been gone up more than they have, still way above average, 51 in philly, ten degrees above normal for this time of the year. 56 in atlantic city, 60 degrees farther south. with the clouds that means the temperature doesn't drop a lot during the night, so it's fairly mild. it's not going to stay that way. how much colder and when with the seven day in a few minutes. >> thanks. >>> a tour bus passenger sent to the hospital after being thrown out of the front window during a traffic stop. the accident happened in north jersey. authorities say the bus came to a sudden stop, which sent the man flying through the window and on to the street. he's expected to be okay. the bus was headed from baltimore to manhattan. >>> philadel

you can see the fog is thickest in the poconos.alf mile visibility in mount pocono and the farther south you go, the better the visibility is, and that will be the case for the evening hours, as well. but we're starting to see some of the clouds break up, at least from top to bottom. the atmosphere is getting drier, so you might see some breaks in these clouds before day break, couple of sprinkles is about the only kind of rain you'd be getting overnight tonight. in this area clouds coming up from the southwest, going to end up in an area of some rain showers, as you'll see here. here's the future cast as you go through the evening hours. the temperature is pretty mild, near 50 degrees, even at midnight, and still well above freezing, even in the lehigh valley, so we don't have any cold air moving in here for a while. so there we are, tomorrow morning, same temperature, 50 degrees in philadelphia, and doesn't matter if it's cloudy or not, it's still going to be on the mild side. allentown, 51 degrees. now as we go toward later in t

and the pocono mountains down to zero visibility for mount pocono and mount holly, it's quarter milevisibility in burlington county. thick fog will likely delay things at the airport. wing ming on the, quarter mile visibility there. and above the fog it's clouds so even when we get rid of the fog we'll look at gray skies. that will eventually lead to rain. for now the rain is well to the west. it's moving through indiana into kentucky and tennessee. but it will be arriving later today. futurecast shows the rainfall pretty much nonexistent until late this afternoon and this evening. look at the potential for heavy douchs. we may even see thunderstorms move. through that's at 6:00, by then a quarter inch in philadelphia, by the time this rain moves away later tonight we'll top half an inch in philadelphia, more than an inch of rain is possible in reading. so a foggy start, then cloudy and rainy but look at the temperatures. 67 degrees to 70 this afternoon. with southwest winds kicking in to 12 miles an hour. tomorrow, the fog, the rain, it's all out of here. sunshine is back but gusty
