it's much warmer than the pocono poconos poconos, in the mid-60s right now. wide range with our temperatures. here's a closer look at the region. 52 5252 degrees. 55 degrees in wilmington. 57 in washington township. 5 in mt. holly. again, our temperatures. it's not quite warm enough to feel any of the thunderstorms. we're just seeing a few light showers in allentown and into the poconos. it's a lot warmer than yesterday. up 18 degrees in mt. holly. up 21 in atlantic city. a closer look at our radar shot shows most of the shower activity confined to the lehigh valley and also parts of the poconos. we'll continue to see passing showers as we head into the next few hours or so. we could see closer to 7 p.m. another round of heavier showers and rainfall even moderate rainfall near atlantic city, stretching into cape may and down toward lewis. by 8:00 we'll see most of the moisture push offshore and we'll see more clearing and that's going to set us up for a nice and enjoyable weekend. plenty of sunshine as we head into saturday. all the sunshine will stick around

we may be dealing with a very few light showers up in the poconos. there's an area of disturbed weather just to our north, and that may be providing some very light showers for poconos and lehigh valley. i don't think this will be long-lasting. most of the area will be staying dry. future weather for today, mild and breezy. then you see that area of disturbed weather kind of passing through. again, if you're in the poconos or parts of the lehigh valley you have the best chance out of the entire area of seeing a few light showers, nothing very heavy. as we go into tomorrow we'll see the clouds increasing not until later in the day, though. warmer air will be here too. it does look pretty good for the phillies home opener. we go into tuesday, clouds increase in the morning. so far looks like the morning showers should stay dry. tuesday afternoon and evening, that's when the rain chances go back up. we are looking at more rain come tuesday. phyllis home opener though as we go into your monday southwest wind blowing out to center field, should be around
