as many as 150 firefighters are here on the scene at the good shepherd presbyterian church at lands down and 65th. we just learned that 47 pieces of apparatus are fighting the blaze from above, including the fire trucks, the ladder trucks that you see here in the distance. i see 41 and i also see 24. we did speak to minister reverend adams. he told us that two people were inside the church at the time. one on the third floor, one on the second floor. when the lights went out. and they ran out. the minister also tells us this church is more than 100 years old. he says they just celebrated that commemoration. he told us that they rent the church to as many as five different congregations. when i asked him where they believe the fire began, he told me that it appears it started in the basement, but of course, the cause is unknown. i also just checked with the fire marshal. they have told us the cause is unknown as well. but we can tell you that the winds are shifting into our direction, which means that only can -- the fire fighting status at this point. so we're going to be joined in just
