joining us now is priscilla thomason from memorial city mall in houston texas. i think it's a record 183 million people are going to be shopping online. wait. 132million people today online and in person. what are you hearing from people there? >> reporter: right. that is the big question. you are seeing a lot of shoppers here as you can see but i'm not seeing a ton of bags in hands. so i think that gone are the days where people brought their shopping list and ticked off off the gifts. instead a lot of people have been shopping before this black friday. we saw a record online sales just yesterday on thanksgiving with all the stores were closed. so a lot of folks are still coming in to scope out the deals but not necessarily with that long list of gifts to buy. take a listen. >> i normally don't come to the mall. i shop online but, you know, i'm just -- i was in the area and so, you know,ly see what everybody has to offer. >> reporter: and while there were some stores like target that had specific deals that you could only buy in the store today, for the most pa
