of course today we had so many pictures of rainbows.t to me from burlingame via twitter. thank you for sending that gorgeous shot. we appreciate it. keep your photos coming. you'll be seeing more rainbows like this as we head into tomorrow. so all this wet weather this week hasn't made a difference. let me show you our rainy season. percent of normal. october 1st through now. rainfall, 59% of average. over ten inches of rain there. oakland is at 62% of normal. you'll notice san jose, 52. santa rosa, 59. moffett field, 56% of average. we are slowly moving up. we're nowhere near average. we can certainly use some more storms but at least we're heading in the right direction. three-day snowfall totals. we're talking homewood, 62 inches. heavenly, 45 inches and more snow is coming. a winter storm warning for the sierra until 5:00 a.m. tomorrow. five to 7 inches of additional snow is expected. chains riequired right now. if you can hold off until tomorrow morning after about 8:00, 9:00, you should be able to get up there without too many pro

rainbows started popping up from san francisco to livermore and some were double rainbows. >>> now your accuweather forecast with lisa. >> that's beautiful. today, another chance of seeing some of those rainbows. we're going to get some sun, a mix of scattered showers. we're seeing a few right now. here is live doppler 7 going into the east bay where you can see a few showers from san ramone to dublin and south towards fremont this morning. so the pavement is certainly wet and down towards the santa cruz mountains, pockets of showers. we widen the perspective and this system will be dropping down from the north. and with it, we'll see a line of showers increase through about 9:00 this morning. right now, visibility less than a mile by the delta. a quarter of a mile petaluma, santa rosa. you can see down where it is rainy around the bay. 6 miles hayward. so boy, is it chilly out there. we're looking at numbers at freezing right now. fairfield, temperatures in the upper 30s. around vallejo. 34 santa rosa. certainly the possibility of a rain/snow mix on mt. hamilton and a high surf advisor
