we are watching two systems the first of which is our rainmaker for today. temperatures are going to climb not just through the afternoon but also through tonight. by tomorrow morning, i think it will be a little bit warmer than what we will have out there this afternoon. the second system we are watching is an important one out to our northwest. this is going to provide plenty of cold air for friday into the upcoming weekend which will be on the heels of today's and tonight's rainmaker. here is our futurecast and it takes you through the afternoon and evening. these areas indicate the areas of heavier precipitation. may be a brief little wintry mix before the morning commute on friday. we could see a little over an inch around the metro area. here is your forecast. temperatures in the 40's tomorrow morning. tomorrow afternoon, not bad. we could even be talking 60 degrees. but that is tomorrow. friday and the weekend, closer to 40 degrees. >> up and down up and down. for the second time this week detectives are investigating a home invasion in spotsylvania c

the next rainmaker comes on tuesday night into wednesday. it's coming in from the south. the system forming around texas will be bringing in gulf oysters of the temperatures go back up but we have a better chance of rain wednesday night into thursday. that error starts to move to the east. by tuesday we start to see more and more cloud cover and rain coming in from the south takes temperatures back into the 50s. after that moves out of here, another front come through. temperatures started out. we see a bit of a change heading into next week, but we have to see just how far they dropped because we are starting at a high around 50 degrees or so by the middle of the week. by the next high tide at fort mchenry, about 49 degrees today. 35 degrees today and then 46 tomorrow. still above the normal high. with all the transitions and whether, we have a chance of coming late afternoon showers but nothing too major. the next five days looks like this. we go to 54 on tuesday, 53 wednesday with a chance of rain, 56 on thursday, 50 on friday. even a drop in centers start with tempera
