raleigh is 71. all thanks to a big storm. you see the spinning with the classic comma shape.talk about washington state. you can follow the jet stream that feeds into the storm in the middle of the country. it's in the southern part of the storm system. the gulf moisture, the cold front is a tornado. the severe weather threat is not going to move up here, but we can see a thunderstorm or two during the especially morning hours on thursday. so the clouds are moving in toward us. futurecast is certainly quiet except for some spotty showers. you'll notice by 5:00 columbus down past cincinnati already those showers will be moving east. this evening, a couple of lighter showers here, but overnight is when we watch the heavier rain approach in toward thursday morning. so this is at 5:30. this is a computer model. you get the idea, it could be a very wet thursday morning commute. tomorrow is a yellow weather alert. by mid morning, we're looking at the heaviest east of the bay with heavier showers even through lunchtime with potentially late afternoon clearing moving in from the west
