it happened in a parking lot along veirs mill road not far from randolph road. abc 7's stephen tschida is there live with why it may not be a clear cut hit-and-run case, right, stephen? >> right, alison. right now montgomery county police are trying to determine whether the 17-year-old who was struck here about 7:15 last night is an innocent bystander or was he part of a group of young men who were pelting people leaving burger king with rocks? you can see they have the evidence here. they circled these rocks. this is one of the rocks believed to have been used to pelt the 2002 chevy avalanche pulling out of here. the motorist actually went to police shortly after the 17-year-old was struck and said that he and his two companions had been struck with rocks. that they had been pelted, attacked by a group of young men who tried to force their way into the vehicle. less told police that he -- he also told police he didn't know he struck anyone when he was taking off from the parking lot. >> is this person not in control or, i don't know, it's kind of crazy to hear
