the republican national committee, the national republican party joined him in that lawsuit. so, things are already -- whether or not anyone believes in elections and intends to abide by them. but with today as the deadline for counties to certify the vote, with one republican controlled county refusing to certify it by the deadline, we're entering into territory that has a lot of mines in it. this raises the prospect that the county that's refusing to certify, they'll likely be sued for refusing to certify. that means we're looking at the prospect that in fairly short order we're going to be looking at a court order that directs the county to certify the vote, even though they don't want to. at that point we're going to be hard up against a -- party that doesn't accept election results is a party that refused to abide by court orders. at which point we're in the abyss and have left all politics behind for something that's very much more like brute force. so, this one county in arizona refusing to certify, on the one hand you can look at it as an obscure little local election

former senior adviser for president biden -- and michael steele, former chairman of the republican national committeed, let me start with you on these times. there is a ton of polls, the polling average is definitely moving, i think in republicans favor over the last several weeks. although, i think it has steadied a little bit in the last couple weeks. these jumped out to me because this is a fairly high quality polling operation. most of the polling over the past few weeks is from bipartisan outfits. the polls are cheap enough to flood the zone. many of them are emboldened by the 2020 election. they can close to the election results, even as other polls stronger. what do you make of where these marquee races are and if they tighten to 50/50, or whether you think folks like kelly are still holding an edge? >> i think there was tightening across the country, that was natural because there is a period of time, that's a 45, 60 days ago when republicans were basically at the bottom. a lot of the folks who are saying they were undecided in polls, republicans are leaning independents. they have come home.
