here is the snow, in the southern half of rhode island. some getting into connecticut and the northern part of rhode it is not the case down here, and some of this is going to get into southeastern massachusetts and at least away from the shoreline. it could make an impact if it comes down far enough. even a few flakes being reported as the snow is starting in metrowest. this gets up to the mass pike and boston by 10:00 p.m. and midnight, continuing thereafter, and then it is a rain to way should for boston. especially for 495, tomorrow morning, the temperature could be around 32, which means freezing drizzle could be appearing. a coating to up to an inch of slush. follow the temperatures, they drop a little below freezing to the north and west of boston. temperatures start to recover a night, the temperatures fly up as the wind starts to pick up out of these out. it means two thanks. this is about the morning commute time of thursday. it will also be accompanied by very strong wind gusts. later tomorrow night, that is the period of stronge

we have snow looking -- moving across connecticut into rhode island. the snow is falling there. the snow is pressing toward the cape ann moving toward the east. there some lighter snowfall south of worcester as well working its way down to southbridge and sturbridge. so far nothing terrible has moved into the region. temperatures are in the 30s. most of towns are above freezing. as the snow moves in, it will drop the temperatures a couple of degrees. once we had midnight you see spotty weather -- spotty areas -- around the cape and islands warming up. north of boston we will still see icy areas during the first part of the day. it won't be until much later in the afternoon that we start to bring in the warmer air slowly from south to north. it will take a while, especially in the merrimack valley well into tomorrow evening before we see any warming. then we will see heavy rain tomorrow night. there's a lot of moving parts in this forecast. in terms of the snow, we are looking at just a coating to a couple of inches. most of it will fall in the midnight hour. overnight temperatur

our neighboring state in rhode island might have a bit of a lead on where these calls are coming from. that's according to the providence journal in new report saying that rhode island state police believe the threats there have been electronically traced back to st. petersburg, russia. i'm looking into whether there's a massachusetts connection into the st. petersburg trail. all of this comes after the series of threats not only in the last week or so back in january there were a ton of them disrupting schools and businesses here and across the bay state. these threats again are robo calls. so those are automated calls that are really hard to trace difficult to know who's the one initiating it, even when you find out where the call is coming from. they are responding to each of the incidents so seriously with bomb squads, evacuating schools, canceling schools and cases for day or more and considered so disruptive and provokes and reached out to the fbi as well as massachusetts state police and where the massachusetts threats are coming from and where it is coming to the rhode island
