their richmond refinery. kron 4's jackie sissel is live jackie >>: the rest refinery today may have a much different look after the vote last night to approve the e r i. the environmental impact report. this is and and and the works for almost a decade. what they want to do is expand and modernize list and this facility. they say they they need to do it it swept the community and have. they want to see this place modernize. the expansion will help refine it the capacity out here and also have a clean air plan. many people are against it. just because is bringing in a lot of high paying jobs does not outweigh the fact that it has a new environmental impact. especially for the 2012 explosion out here. it's and thousands of people into the local hospitals. about a hundred people last night voted five to nothing to approve it. so now will see this project moves forward. there is no timetable set right now for the exact time that the expansion will start. it has been in the pipeline for about 10 years now. >>: a d
