around richmond, roanoke, we have shower activity. an area of low pressure is trying to form down here. if it becomes strong enough it may bring moisture up. you see clouds around the region. you notice around philadelphia, new york city, back to pittsburgh. clear skies here. that's an area of high pressure suppressing all of the moisture to the south. if you're headed down to virginia beach over the next couple of days, cape hatteras, could be wet days for you. our region and our beaches are looking good. that's the good news here. future weather picks it up well. they have a chance of a shower tomorrow. i don't think we'll see that. around 5:00 in the afternoon, chance of showers in d.c. no. i wouldn't be surprised if they are around fredricksburg, culpepper, orange. maybe as far north as royal. most of us will be dry. same deal on sunday. if you're back toward the mountains, doing some camping back toward front royal you may run into showers back into this area. that will be about it. you know we'll have the latest on storm team 4.

a couple reports from roanoke park.message on facebook. i posted outstanding pictures from severe weather photographer. for us we have a little cooler pattern today. high clouds. most of those north bay. south bay looks to be mostly sun isny. the clouds are what is left of what was hurricane marie still kind of floating around there. the fog banks a little thicker here making a stronger push. 59 half-moon bay. 59 novato. fair field always the key. 50s and 60s some of the higher elevations. but calistoga is 54. 56 petaluma. had gusts to 30 plus out at travis. a little south wind at concord. westerly oakland and westerly napa. water temps are still mild to warm. if we can get a northwest breeze we can drop these back into the 50s. 62 reno. 62 sacramento. 61 ukiah. everyone is pretty close there as well. you can see with the higher cloud. these may take the edge off some of the temperatures because we will have less sun. we will have have is a partly to mostly cloudy sun break. temperatures coming down with morning drizzle
