here's roberta gonzales with your forecast. >> hi, everybody! may seem pretty tranquil outside but we have a lot to talk about so let's get to it. first off today is warmer in all areas with the summertime weather pattern continuing through the end of the week and then we bump up those temperatures for the weekend. sure, it's still monsoonal moisture lifting into the desert southwest. we have a little bit of intrusion with the clouds hanging very tight to the san mateo coast. otherwise, high pressure is in command. we have low pressure to the north and smack in between, kind of like a zonal flow so our temperatures are going to be pretty much close to where they should be for this time of the year, all the way through friday. so the clouds again hang tight to the coast. tomorrow morning same. and then during the afternoon and evening hours, we see that shallow deck of clouds begin to treat allowing the temperatures to warm additionally just in time for the weekend. statewide, 102 in fresno. 91 degrees at the state capital. and the high sierra, w

roberta gonzales has a look at the forecast. >> hi, everybody. we are socked in along the coast and into the bay. we'll gradually season clearing around the rim of the bay with clouds lingering at the immediate seashore. this is your futurecast. this afternoon slight clearing and that's it at the immediate seashore. we fill back in the with stratus roughly about 1800 feet again tomorrow morning and we will warm up with the sunshine inland but not so much at the coast. speaking of the coast that right there, that is monsoonal moisture. that's interesting doings. this stretches from new mexico and arizona through the back door of monterey and san benito counties. it has produced some lightning strikes offshore about 50 this morning. cloud-to-ground lightning, which means we could see some higher fire danger in throughout the counties. so we'll keep a watchful eye. but for the bay area, coastal cloudiness, warm away from the bay today, and then the warming trend will continue through friday into the weekend. this right here high pressure, well estab
