they rolled through here yesterday at 2:00. of course, we joined you on air around 2:00 and stayed with you for numerous hours. the storms rolled through from the southwest to the northeast. the hits area up-and-down the 95 corridor. you can see a lot of the reds. we started to see a lot of spin in the atmosphere throughout the afternoon that developed the tornadoes. stayed with us throughout. with a lot of wind damage a lot of downed trees and torrential rain that formed throughout the afternoon and the evening. right now what we have are several watches and watches in place. we have coastal and area floor warnings in place. all of that rain is sinking into the ground and over filling the creeks and the streams. they are starting to fill now. the coastal flood damage is of course, because a lot of the wind pushing towards the coast. but the inland it is because of the rain. it is filling the tributaryies. the flash flood was from the heavy rain that the streets and ground could not handle. so, today temperatures in the 50s. 58

i've been seeing things that i didn't see yesterday, bart trains rolling, rolling, rolling. early morning inspection that sealed the deal took place up there and that is where the damage was done and that is where the repairs were made. check this morning, they are holding up. take a look at crews doing the repair work on the damaged parts kept bart shutdown for 12, 13 hours yesterday it was a disaster, 100 people working nonstop to get those trains rolling. fire destroyed a number of insulators which hold up the third rail which was warped. also several hundred feet of communications cable damaged. i talked to a bart spokesman and he says this morning it is all systems go. >> we were essentially testing whether the repairs that we made yesterday were still intact and whether everything was good to go for increased train speeds. everything looks good. the people who worked on it yesterday morning and early afternoon did an awesome job. >> reporter: by 5:15 last evening, 60 trains were rolling, normal for a thursday afternoon. after the early morning inspections it is going t
