thank you for being with us. >> good morning. >> we just heard from ron mott, cadaver dogs picked upof human remains in the family home. police took out a swatch of carpet, a number of other items. can you tell us what police removed from the house? >> i can. first of all, i would say that the -- if there ever was any evidence of cadaver dogs, that was not confirmed by this search of the house on october 19th. you want to tell me why i know that? >> yes, please. >> last night i went to the kcpd and asked permission to get back into the house, whether the house would be released back to the family and it was verified the house would be released. i came right over to the house so i could make a tour of the house and see whether or not there was any evidence within the house that would suggest that a dogger h ever hit in the bedroom. when i went in the house, i had an opportunity to look at the search warrant return. the dogs were through the house on october 17th and that particular consent form, which jeremy irwin signed it indicate thad no evidence was seized at that time. when i had

ron mott joins us live from kansas city with the details.good morning. >> reporter: hey, carl. good morning to you. police say a dog specially trained to detect the consent of human decomposition hit on a smell on the floor of the berm at this family's home, adding more renewed interest in this case and renew eed for this lite girl. this led officials to follow up with a search warrant two days later. on wednesday night, forensics teams wearing protective white suits carried numerous items out of the home bradley shares with her husband, jeremy irwin, capping a hunt inside and outside the house for clues to find the missing 10-month-old lisa irwin. >> the dog made indication that there was a decomposing body in that spot at one time. it is proof that this is an important piece of evidence. >> among the property confess indicated, a comforter, a disney shirt, blanket, rolls of tape and a tape dispenser. officials say they've gotten conflicting information about what may have happened the night baby lisa disappeared late october 3rd or early o

let's go live to kansas city and nbc's ron mott. good saturday morning. found? >> reporter: good saturday morning. unfortunately, this case seems to be taking a turn toward the more ominous. on monday investigators voluntarily went into the house. the couple let them in and brought cadaver dogs with them. one of the fbi-trained cadaver dogs had a positive hit for the smell of human decomposition on the family's bedroom. two days later authorities came back with a search warrant and spent 17 hours on wednesday going in and out of that house. they brought a number of items out of that house, including blankets, some baby items, carpeting, we're told, rolls of tape and a tape dispenser out of that house. they have a huge list of things they brought out. they also got the court to approve blocking certain other items they took away from the house because they thought it would hinder the investigation if the public were to know some of those details. this case has taken on a new turn. police have said this couple has not been cooperating with them. yesterday t
