rooftops have gone up very successfully on rooftops. not just putting a lot of people to work on i think it's good for tourism industry and generally for economic developments. i am excited about this project. i'm very happy and thankful to this developer and the folks in the community for coming together for an agreement. there are some minor, technical amendments. some of the existing text in the code has sons headed, we have drafted the no amendments to add that text back in. it looks like a big amendment, but it's actually just replacing existing text with the same language. >> if i may, having just read this for the first time, and i think i was actually the author of the previous text that did sunset for a similar project that was never built. the language sons headed -- -- sun set. you change it to 5 third street. is there a reason, are you just doing that in the short title so people know where it is? >> that is right. i am not sure whether that short title change was recommended by the clerk's office or by someone in my office.

like us, we have taken a stroll through the transit center, bus deck, and rooftop -- rooftop park.ou're probably note is clear and increasing quality of good signage, increasing numbers of writers that are -- they know where they are going to get on the buses. the transit center staff and ambassadors are answering questions. the transit center security personnel, or even an occasional san francisco police officer walking around ensuring that things are safe and secure. the rooftop parkas being utilized by community members and nearby employees of companies surrounding the transit center. signage indicates upcoming scheduled activities as well as rules and policies regarding the use of the policy -- of the transit center. things are going great. things are smooth, efficient, professional, and secure, and there is significant progress with retail leasing. overall, the c.a.c. and members on the public have a lot of positive comments about what they are seeing and hearing, and with a few constructive remarks that were well received and noted by the tjpa staff on our meeting on tuesday

in cape town it was one of the 1st larger rooftop installations you see. of all distributed over all roofs here on the waterfront all in all totaling more than 1.3 major watts of capacity and the electricity is used immediately when it's when it's produced so there is no storage involved it's not feed it back into the grid it's just use as it's produced. the fact is the state provider is not really interested in having solar energy fit into the grid doesn't want competition. never the less...

i got into rooftop because of i'm half filipino and half jewish and they needed more filipino students to come to the school so i was able to get into that program. you can imagine what 24th street was like in that time period and i was a having a blast, much to my parents' dismay. eventually it got me sent to an alternative correctional facility in new mexico. i was away for a year and a half in a drug detox program, when i was 17 years old. i came back and i started city college and started studying criminal justice because prior to getting sent away, i was a part of youth moments here . it was called third eye movement. we were committed to fighting against gang violence, the juvenile initiative, where we saw a lot of doingness come out our high schools and middle schools and new money infusion into building correction facilities. we saw money go towards ygc and now they're getting closed down because they've never been more than a fourth full. my life in san francisco has expanded like that historic context. i claim worked as a case manager and after school educator, where the yout
