his cousin and roommate are in touch with the fbi and police and they are also telling us exclusively they are doing whatever it takes to bring shane home. they are also among the last to see shane. now it has been six days going on seven, in intense search efforts to find shane including combing the manayunk canal and family and friend posting flyers all over the city. they are also looking to and will continue to do so this morning. this is an all out effort to find 21 year-old west chester university student shane montgomery. he vanished sometime early thanksgiving morning after a night out of bar hopping his last stop was kildares irish pub on main street. he got there just before 2:00 a.m. which happens to be closing time. he was told by staff it was time to go. he was walk to the front door by staff which included a cousin. now the bar insist shane was in the over served and was in the drunk a at that time. speaking exclusively to "eyewitness news" shane's roommate and cousin tell us that they were working with the fbi and police to help find shane. >> the fbi need me i will go

one of my favorite pictures is this him with his roommate in their dorm room.y are working on a model it looks like, some kind of aircraft. but they are both in their pajamas. this portrait of neil armstrong, you can see he has on his purdue band uniform. he played a baritone. in this case, we have materials from eugene cernan's first couple of years at purdue university. one of the interesting things is he was the editor for the navy rotc yearbook. and you can see his name as editor on their letterhead. so he was not only doing electrical engineering, which was his major, but also involved in editing the yearbook. another couple of items here. his application for rotc. there are two of them, which people might be surprised at. the first when he was in high school, he was not accepted. they did not have a spot for him at purdue in the rotc program. he persisted and came to purdue and tried again. there is his second attempt at getting into the rotc, and he did. it is something he talks about, being successful means never giving up and always trying to achieve y
