our meteorologist rosemary orozco is in the weather center where she's been following the bands of heavy rain that have been passing through. >> it is widespread at this hour. you spoke about very active weather going on. i have hail reported in areas like half-moon bay, concord, o rinda, hillsboro. tracking rain and lightning with the possibility of rain. it looks like it has begun to shift out of your area. but lightning reported in this area as well as the possibility of pea sized and perhaps even marble size hail. it's now shifting into the central valley and we'll continue to work east over the sierra. if i move to the south bay, we've got light showers to moderate rain reported in areas right near campbell, santa clara, san jose. but it is just widespread and it is going to be a messy evening drive home. already is, you can see we've got our bridges completely wet. the peninsula, the east bay. i want to shift to the north bay because i do see our break going on right here. now beginning to slip a little bit closer to santa rosa. so the steady rain will begin to taper off. but the s
