not about hype it's about meaning 10 years of talk and still going strong. peter if you want to change something why don't we get rid of the. no that is too much. look at what we start back with figure quite a big figure out that $50000000000.00 that is what some of the world's biggest oil corporations have spent on projects that on their mind climate goals according to a report by financial think tank carbon tracker while climate activists insists large companies and governments should come up with proper initiatives to tackle the problem it seems some experts proposals are pretty radical. the main oficial initiative though is the 2015 part climate. so much done in the years by so many people know it was rather by a 185 states citing. that countries should take to limit global warming but most of the signatories have failed to live up to the commitments are to. discuss the issue with a pile of expert. the hours of cold was not legally binding there was no reason for anyone to stick to it they can do what they like and they've carried on doing what they've like. i'm afraid we're in the grip of a series of systems which are putting profit before everything they're going to wring the last drop of profit out of all the old world industries such as the fossil fuel industries we've known about this problem we've known about c o 2 we've known about me thing we know about the feedback loops we've known about they'll be the effect on the ice sheets capitalism is have plenty of time to solve this problem but i'm afraid it hasn't dealt with it so we have to start dealing with capitalism the only way we're going to do that is by taking radical action on the streets i've been on the streets myself with extinction rebellion and the people come up to us and they're with us you know the u.k. for example there was a lot of activism. in the last 20 years and running up to 2008 went to law school the climate change act that was supposed to deal with the problem and hold the government and all future governments to hold their feet to the fire in terms of doing what's required. and that was certainly the result of lots of different you know different environmental groups and you know hundreds of thousands of people marching repeatedly so i think you know we have seen change but it's just nowhere near enough to tackle the crisis at scale do you as a climate scientist feel that the activists play a serious role in the in the development of towards a solution for climate change problem with the extension and the extinction barely again is. not one who now is agent to make change it means the government or the public and they need to make massive changes to make this happen we've got ourselves into a situation scientists say they want about blockades and this isn't going to be something that we can just make it quite that. way. it's going to be a long haul we're going to need it was this is site less consumes less consumes differently we get we think a lot of economy and that does not have made the night that without some impacts i think that people the public and politicians are quite aware of the drastic changes we need to start reducing our carbon emissions and one of the things that i think we need to consider and which is nothing more to many people in the green movement is that we we increase our use of nuclear and i know many in the green movement don't like this but really the only country that ever successfully carbonized its elektra's output is france and it did it in the 1960 s. and 1970 s. by by going for nuclear power why why worry is there i don't think people are ready to cut their energy use worldwide since 970 we've seen worldwide energy use increased dramatically and. that we're not going to be able to persuade people to reduce their energy use and one of the only ways i think we're going to combine climate change is to to for both renewables are nuclear is to provide alternative sources because i just don't think people are ready to to cut energy use with too addicted to our our lifestyles. let's go check and some stories making headlines around the world for you know starting in the southern russia russia russia they should not have been talking about stormy daniels and michael have jani and here we are just one more ploy in their book and by the way we all know this isn't going to go anywhere in the senate if nancy pelosi was really worried she would say before we move let's look at the evidence let's try to get some republicans on board if we can get republicans on board based on evidence maybe this thing had a real chance but the fact is this is just like the russian probe it's political it's and it's trying to turn over the 2016 election which the democrats tried to do even before trump was sworn into office. members of britain's parliaments are on their way back to work 24 hours off to supreme court judges ruled the prime minister's decision to send them home was unlawful boris johnson's flying back from the united nations general assembly new york to face calls for his resignation opposition m.p.'s were inferior to that he suspended parliament for 5 weeks before the bracks it deadline and tobar for a child and now joins us live from outside of parliament and london so rory what can we expect in parliament today. yes in just over an hour and a half the politicians will be back sitting in the the famous building behind me can already see that the campaign as flags have returned again to the green here and what we will get from parliament next is not really given away by the order sheets for the house of commons for the day which just says that there will be urgent questions and ministerial statements but you can bet that this will be an absolutely tolerates session of parliament today. what the supremes court did yesterday was rule that boris johnson had acted on the rule fully in sending all the m.p.'s away for the suspension that he had in effect misled them on it now in normal political times you would expect the prime minister to resign over over such a decision but boris johnson hasn't done that at least nor yet in normal political times you might expect. opposition m.p.'s here to use the weakness of this government's use the fact that it is just been. unanimously by the supreme court for acting on lawfully and push as quickly as possible for a vote of no confidence botts every indication is that they will not do so now jeremy corbett and who is the leader of the opposition labor party has said that the priority of the opposition is to hold boris johnson to account to basically push him to abide by the legislation that was passed just before the parliamentarians went on their on the prohibition suspension. that basically demands that he either gets a deal with the european union before the 31st of october and if he can't do that he has to apply to them for an extension only once that has been settles the opposition says will they push for a vote of no confidence or an election so essentially their tactic is to hold him offstage in 10 downing street until they've got what they need out of him then they will pull the trigger boris johnson of course is going to do everything he can to try to wiggle out of that trap. and given the surf stunning indictment from the supreme court judges and their reaction a lot of anger there in parliament is there any sense of remorse from the governments are any of them agreeing that they've actually done something wrong. no no absolutely not yet what's the position of the government is we had this in boris johnson when he spoke just after the verdict yesterday and we've heard it from allies like michael gove today is that they think the decision of the supreme court was wrong the way we can see this being framed by the government is essentially vats the judiciary is part of the problem that it is part of this kind of elite conspiracy against the will of the people and it is the boris johnson government that is standing up for the will of the people the people voted for bracks if he's going to deliver bracks it and the supreme court says together with parliaments accept or in trying to get in the way of that that's a message that is also being unprovided think in certain parts of the right wing press and that will be the message that is going towards any election but it's interesting i think that we have figures like nigel farage the leader of the brics r.t. and arch grex it's here who is saying now although we did say before that prohibition was perfectly normal he's now saying that was a massive mistake from boris johnson because it gives the momentum to those who don't want greater to happen for a challenge at westminster as parliamentarians start returning to work thank you now the french president emmanuel micron is pushing for a meeting between iran's leader hassan rouhani and president donald trump on the sidelines of the un general assembly. we believe. we know we think this prison time against one of. the one of the damage is about to continue. relations between the u.s. and iran became even more tense following attacks on 2 major facilities inside those months washington says iran was behind the attacks but terror on denies that is urging the countries to pursue negotiation efforts our correspondent john holl is at the united nations in new york. there has been a flurry of activity involving a number of leaders meeting separately here in new york with her son rouhani the iranian president and also with donald trump from germany japan pakistan and the united kingdom all pushing separately to try and broker what would be a historic meeting between 2 countries whose leaders haven't met for 40 years emmanuel now from the french president particularly engaged in this effort he's known to want to set up negotiations more broadly at some point to take in a 4 point program and get a new nuclear file of course also ending the war in yemen coming up with a regional security plan and lifting sanctions he said that conditions he believes are right now for a rapid resumption of negotiations it's now up to iran and the united states to seize the opportunity well that hasn't happened yet iran wants a lifting of sanctions now as a precondition for talks to donald trump he is not willing to do that at the moment but he has left the door open the u.s. president saying we are here we do have time they'd like to meet and certainly it makes sense to meet but nothing has been agreed yet. and earthquake has hit east and pakistan killing at least 25 people and injuring hundreds more a 5.8 magnitude quakes epicenter was close to the city of near poor and pakistan a minister kashmir dozens of homes were destroyed and cars damaged when roads collapsed in many areas. rescue and relief efforts are underway after 4 slides and made 4 which are situated in progress on the administered kashmir because the earthquake happened in the evening the rescue and relief operations were hampered by the dog electricity of god god golf too many areas cell phone services also disrupted but the military is now aiding the civilian government in the rescue efforts greatly 5 people have been killed hundreds more have been injured and are under treatment and radio producers the pakistani military is confident that the situation is under control and that they will be able to contain the situation by evening today or engage rescue efforts under way but what we have been able to witness is that the people of this area spend their nights outdoors recall the fear that their homes and buildings may collapse on them and of course most of them decided to sleep outside as you can see the efforts are still underway to try and restore all keeling crores reject being cut off telecommunications services are also being disrupted and the military is now gone for daring to say that they will be able to contain the situation within the next 24 hours. and still ahead and there are. taliban threats and corruption concerns fears raised over the credibility of the upcoming off an election. and how this could become a huge threat to humanity. because the usual russia showers across southeast asia they are not going their way further south let's now that we have of course passed the economics so they're somewhere around the equator as they should be so we got west of weather now pushing down into malaysia a little drier over the next diode say into thailand bangkok at around $34.00 celsius russia, russia, russia, they don't really seem to care about all about obama's promise to vladimir or clinton's promise to north korea, or the money they dumped on the mullahs in iran, but they will run wall-to-wall coverage, at best, about a nebulous story where we do not know the identity of the whistle-blower, we don't know any details of the allegations, we don't know which world leader that was referenced, we don't know what the so-called promise was. naturally, nobody else in the media that is now echoing what "the washington post" says every decided to independently verify these unknown claims on their own, that this unknown individual is making. tonight, "the washington post" is adding to their unknown report that the whistle-blower's complaint involves the country of ukraine. i was happy with this news. maybe they will give us information that they said they want to give us, that we have not taken yet, about their influence in the 2016 election to help hillary clinton, or maybe they are going to tell us oh, why they really gave in to joe biden's pressure, basically leveraging a billion of our taxpayer dollars. here's what we also know. we know that key facts, details don't matter to this mob, this media mob. rush limbaugh pointed out you can tell these people any single thing you want, they will report it verbatim as long as it can be used to smear trump. goes like this, one network reports a salacious story, no story, no specific. every outlet, they repeat it and they get all whipped up into a frenzy, a circular firing squad. this network of themselves only. that's what we saw today, what is a rage psychotic level of speculation, hysteria, on nearly every single solitary network over what is one, a sketchy story with no details, no specifics from bezos' "washington post" hour after hour, what the eventual trump haters in the deep state wanted, it fits a pattern. after all, this is not the first leak on donald trump from the intel community that was designed to smear president trump. remember, just a few days ago when the media mob went crazy on that report that a high level u.s. spy had to be extracted from moscow because president trump couldn't be trusted with secret information? that turned out to be more fake news. the spy was actually extracted because of reasons unrelated at all to president trump that dated back to the obama administration, and the real reason was the extraction turned out to be nothing to do with trump. no. the extraction was due to the media coverage. they put the guy's life in jeopardy. after the story break and the guy is back here, the media did everything in the power to expose not only the person's identity, but pretty much give vladimir putin the guy's home address which would be a clear and present danger to him and his family. president trump dismantles and exposes the deep state, they would do nothing to destroy his presidency. how did they get this information? let's not forget the chilling comments, that senator from new york to chucky schumer in 2017, you mess with the intel community, they've got six ways from sunday to get back at you. really? is that what they are going to do with the powerful tools of intelligence that we give them? >> welll, i think the big concern here, sean, and i spoke to several intelligence officials today, is the fact that directly surrounding the president are people attempting to target him and leak information, as well as report to the ig. you know, this has to be a really big concern and you brought up a point that i was going to make which is chuck schumer's statement that the intelligence community can get back to you six ways to sunday.. this was not supposed to happen in america. this is something we see in other countries. how is it is our intelligence apparatus appears to be challenging the administration consistently? and so i think when you think of this story, we don't have a lot of facts yet. we don't know whether this is dealing with ukraine and biden, maybe, or dealing with some other country? we don't have the facts because nobody, nobody right now from the ig is talking about it and adam schiff is spreading lies and spreading a narrative in order to target the president with -- >> sean: by the way, that's the one guy we have on tape colluding with the russians. >> exactly. >> sean: we've got that on tape, sara. >> yeah, we heard him. we heard him asking for these pictures. do you have these pictures?
