we did see record heat and sacramento of 109 in stockton was 112. we are cooling off and the fog is coming back to the coast that will help. a spare the air date is not in the forecast tomorrow. there is the fog that is pinched off at the coast and it doesn't come inland and cool you off. it increases the fire danger. the wind will push it further inland tonight. we will see a fog from that will get over almost into the livermore valley which will start cooling. it's 107 in fairfield and you can certainly see that the sea breeze has been helping and it will help more tomorrow. it will be cooler tomorrow and significantly so. you can almost see where this sea breeze is as fairfield has not cooled at all. there's that shot that shows the shallowness of the marine layer but for the next few hours it will deepen and that will allow it to protrude into the bay. that's what you want when you are trying to get things to cool off. the model shows the intrusion of the marine layer. you can see it tries to bleed into the livermore valley but you need to know
