the interior valleys all the way to the sacramento valley.that helps with the fire conditions out there. as you look out there this evening, we are looking at some clearing skies out toward the golden gate bridge. couple patches of fog beginning the meandering along the headlines. otherwise temperatures not bad. you've got 60's coast side. very comfortable. 74 in san jose right now. 73 in dublin. 69 in oakland, 74 degrees and sunny. now in concord. all these temperatures really running below the average for this time of year, but not bad out there. all effect. we've another round of some clouds rolling on in. now you can see some of that moisture approaching the coastline. theirs one last little swirl in the atmosphere. one little low that's spinning off the coast of a factor in the fog kind of amplified as we head toward the next day or so. and then after that, we get the weekend, we're going start to see those temperatures getting on the hot side right now. patchy fog out there. kind of broken out toward the coastline after very thick fog a

the reason why i'm talking about sacramento, here is the big reason. we've been talking about that fire actually out burning in the sierra. that's impacted the air quality out in the sacramento valley but here in the bay we're fortunate with a very strong onshore flow which we just talked about and it's giving us fresh air pushing in from the pacific at the surface level at least. the upper level of our atmosphere we're seeing a little bit of that smoke plume with pm 2.5 levels increasing but we're keeping a close eye on that in the weather center. nonetheless the onshore flow is helping our temperatures stay a little bit cooler right now near san francisco, oakland, even concord, sitting below average this afternoon. let's break that down, though, looking at the santa clara valley we are getting up to 75 degrees in mountain view. 83 in campbell. let's look at our tri-valley friends, mid to low 80s with 90s in the east inland hills. nothing to write home about. this is great weather to take advantage of cycling, biking, hiking all of the things we coul
