they started in the central valley and they went over to sacramento at about 10:00 this morning. the pilots did a low pass over the capital. the state office of emergency services and the california highway patrol academy as well. nurses, doctors, other hospital workers at kaiser permanente, oakland also got a flyover along with kaiser permanente hospitals in richmond and santa clara, the folks at santa clara county medical center. when the f-15s through over dominican hospital in santa cruz, on their way down the coast to southern california, then they'll fly back up to california national guard's 144th fighter wing where they are based. no less emotional this morning, this scene at novato community hospital where police and emergency workers honored about 125 health care workers at their morning shift change. we talked with an overnight er doctor who has been at the hospital for 27 years. he says these are interesting days. >> it's just amazing, it's funny because we're getting supported by all the people we want to show support for. and it's really nice. this is a great place
