i'll be at safeway since it's more convenient. right next to me i wouldn't say its cheaper than conventional shopping. but i think there's ways around it. buying in bulk you go to costco you could buy like a big tub of grapes for 7 dollars. so you migh think 7 dollars is a lot for grapes but you get what you pay for. nutrition students here at san jose state learn that there is not enough science to determine which is best between organic or non organic. ultimately what is important is nutritious versus non nutritious. in class students are taught that too many people pay too little attention to what they eat. people who think about what they are putting into their body are obviously thinking about what the product is vs. people who don't really go to the store and like look at the nutrition label and things like that. they're... i think the people who go and like specifically look for certain things are more inclined to eat better. of course to some people food is food to me. when we come back we will chew on the topic. a convers

officers say he robbed a wells fargo bank in a safeway in antioch yesterday.ng him leave on a bicycle, then jumped into a truck. officers later chased him along highway 4 with speeds reaching 100 miles per hour. they say he eventually ended up in east oakland where he barricaded himself in an apartment and took a person hostage. that person was able to escape and he was taken into custody without incident. >>> there are also new developments in the investigation into last week's amtrak derailment in philadelphia. investigators found a circular brake at the lower left side of the train's windshield which could be the result of an object thrown or shot at that train moments before it jumped the tracks. investigators say as many as three trains in that area could have been hit by rocks or some other objects within a 20- minute span last tuesday night. a passenger on one of the other trains says he witnessed an object hitting a window near him. >> i was working on my laptop, i was following up with a couple of e-mails, all of a sudden i hear a crash, i turned, did

police say an armed man walked into a safeway store on deer valley road and antioch right at the dinner hour, 6:15 or so, and demanded money. he got that money and then stole a car. they pursued the subject for 40 miles to oakland where the gunman got out of his car, ran into an apartment on pena drive and took a person hostage. that lasted until just after 11:00 last night when police say the hostage managed to escape. then oakland police swat team went in and rarrested that suspect. the fbi is now involved in that investigation. >>> to the south bay where a young girl fought off a man who tried to kidnap her in broad daylight as she walked her dog in a million-dollar neighborhood. the attempted abduction happened at 10:00 in the morning near may son court and campbell. the girl was in the area when a man pulled up and asked her for directions. then she says he tried to grab her. the girl screamed and fought the man off, and eventually the man did drive away. police say this is a sketch of that suspect as described by the girl. she says he is asian or hispanic, in his mid-30s, about 5'
