dover getting a little and parts of south jersey around salem county and cumberland county picking upit now too. as we look outside we have a lot of clouds around where snow showers are popping through. elsewhere it's a mix of clouds and some clear spaces and we expect that as we go through the day we'll wind up with a mix of clouds and sun and a nice change coming this afternoon. 25 degrees in philadelphia, 15 right now in allentown. winds aren't all that strong but obviously it is another morning for coats and a little extra gear. satellite showing you that overall the cloud cover only extends about halfway out toward pennsylvania's midsection and then we get some clearing down to the south and west that is going to be able to move in and we will get the return of sunshine today. as we go through the afternoon we are going to get a southerly flow that increases the temperatures. 37 is your high in allentown which is still chilly but not as cold as it was yesterday. and down the shore it looks like we'll get all the way up to 46 for a high, clouds and sun, again not as cold this afte

if you do see more through wilmington or salem you do want to slow it down. as we go out wider that stuff to the north and west is falling apart. areas north of allentown might pick up something. we're looking at a mix of clouds and a mix overhead. overall we're expecting a mix of clouds and sun. we're starting out cold, 25 degrees currently in philadelphia so we haven't quite gotten rid of the chilly air that moved in yesterday just yet. winds are calm and as we take a look at satellite kind of cloudy with snow showers falling an part but there are breaks in the clouds to our west and we expect to transition to at least partly sunny skies as we go through the latter portion of the day. 24 degrees by 8 o'clock, 36 by 11 o'clock and here's where the payoff comes. we're looking at a southerly flow of air drawing in milder air in the afternoon. we'll get up to 46 degrees. it's been about 10 days since we've been that mild so this will be a nice break from where we've been. four by 2 o'clock. by 5 o'clock probably still in the low 40's so a nice afternoon ahead.
