sam liccardo announced he will be running for another term as mayor of san jose in the upcoming electionn office for the last two- and-a-half years. liccardo says, he wishes to continue to work on rebuilding public safety, confronting poverty and expanding opportunity. the election will take place in 20-18. (hermela aregawi)around 3:05 this afternoon sfpd responded to calls about shots fired.one of the victims had life threatening injuries.the other two non-life threatening. police aren't sharing any information about the suspects or suspect vehicles either.in san francisco hermela aregawi kron 4 news (dan kerman) here in the east bay hills, fire crews remain on the scene putting out hot spots and mopping up from that fire that broke out wednesday afternoon. the fire has charre 20 acres and is 50 percent contained. crews will remain here over night and throughout the day tomorrow.in the meantime uc berkeley police is saying this fire is being investigated as a potential arson. but cal fire which is the lead fire investigator is saying no such thing keeping all options open. in the east b
