the same goes for san francisco and san jose the biggest drop of the three major metro areas. san jose has a lot fewer miles driven through the city streets. despite that we go to the toll counts from our friends from the metropolitan transportation commission. the bay bridge weekday traffic is averaging about 90% of that for comparable days in 2019 and while the number of tolls, the number of cars traveling through the bay bridge toll plaza has really come back, it's the 90% level, the number of people carpooling has not so we're less than 60% of that number from 2019. what that might mean is that more people driving solo across the span could mean more commute troubles, as we have more people continuing to hit the road for the jobs, so we'll keep watching for these changes and i'm sure you'll feel it. i've got transit changes that have taken place and more on the future in social media and social media will be lit up with folks talking about trying to get to the beach i think, coming up in the next few days. >> we're trying to take it in today as we get a live look in dub ri
