carly flynn died while crossing the street in san bruno back in december.eld a press conference with police yesterday asking for witnesses to come forward with any information that might lead to an arrest. carly was hit by a mid-size white s-u-v making a turn onto san bruno avenue. that car then drove off. after the press conference, carly's parents sat down with kron four to deliver a message to the person who killed their daughter. in the six weeks since her death, police have not yet identified the driver. carly's organs were donated to four different people after she died, including a kidney that went to an 11-year-old boy. two people are under arrest --- accused of stealing a car and leading police on a chase that ended in a crash in oakland. this is video of the scene from our partnership with a-b-c 7 news.. police first responded to a car-jacking around 4-30 yesterday afternoon on shafter avenue in oakland... about 10 minutes later officers found the car and attempted to make a traffic stop. that's when the driver took off and lead police on a chase

kron 4's charles clifford is live tonight in san bruno. today, he attended a news conference at police headquarters. charles , we understand the victim's parents are also speaking out? natsthursday afternoon, the parents of 29-year-old carly flynn talked about how their daughter was the light of their lives. they describe a kind soul who loved animals and painting.sotshe was the kindest person you would ever meetback on december 19th, carly had walked from her home here near cherry avenue and san pablo avenue to get a coffee at starbucks. according to investigators, around 530pm she was crossing san pablo on her way back home, when she was struck by a mid size white suv making a left hand turn onto san pablo from cherry avenue. the driver of that vehicle then fled the scene. carly was transported to the hospital with critical injuries and died three days later. in the six weeks since her passing, investigators have not yet identified a suspect in this case. they do say that the intersection were carly was struck was busy that evening and t

mobile doppler radar parked on san bruno, scanning around. some of the heaviest rain and pockets of heavier downpours. spots like guerneville, windsor, sebastapol, santa rosa, it is still raining. let's head to the santa cruz mountains. we had over 12 inches of rain in 24 hours. in just this area. we are tracking a lot of on heavy rain. lighter showers heading also towards san jose. expect the streets to be wet as you out. up the peninsula, light rain, a light downpour in san francisco just to make things treacherous as you get ready to head out the door. still seeing some of the rain moving in. look hour by hour outlook. it gives us a chance to dry out later on today. and still spotty light rain until the next round of heavier rain moves in. we will also have gusty winds and more potential problems for the bay area as we continue to track all of this wet weather. the model shows a potential of another inch of rain for the north bay. parts of the santa clara valley looking at least an inch of rain. once again this atmospheric over the bay are

mobile doppler radar parked on san bruno mountain. we'll keep this in action today to pick up on possibility of a few more lingering showers as we go through the day. as we zoom out, we see that there is still rain to the north of us. as that moves closer, there may be some rain here and there. for the most part, we're looking at drier conditions and a very cold start. we're at 49 degrees at 9:00 in oakland. lunchtime temperature at about 54 degrees and throughout the day going to see those low 50s, which is much cooler than where we should be for this time in february. as we warm up this week, we continue on with dry weather. i'll talk about that and a look ahead to the weekend. now mike is tracking the ripple effect from those crashes. >> we talk about how delicate the balance is for the bay area commute. on one side of the bay can affect the other. slower drive on san mateo bridge. we're also looking at the problems here on the peninsula. first crash we talked about was whipple avenue northbound 101 with right lanes blocked in that

this is san bruno. it gives us the height of the clouds of which the rain drops are coming it of. we have a high resolution. we can even pick up on the type of precipitation. this is exclusive to nbc bay area. we're the only ones who have this. we can move it around the bay area to give us the best view of what's happening as a storm system approaches as it is standing now, much of the rain now in the bay area for the north bay, some pockets of heavy rain. this is something that other radars may be missing out on showing where the heaviest rain is now. also, as we two through santa rosa, a steady downpour. it is still raining with much of this moving off to the east very slowly. we also have a wind advisory for 3:00 tomorrow morning. we may have gusts to 50 miles per hour. some of these areas in the hills is and along the coastline. that continues throughout the day. these waves of rain moving in. a lot more rain moving in with this storm system. expecting to be a hit or miss variety. we will not all see this at the same time. the models show we will continue to see off and on rai
