morning in the portola district police say it happened just after 8 o'clock yesterday morning on san bruno the one o one in silver avenue area. they found a 33 year-old man with injuries and transported him to the hospital where he later died. police say they do have a description of a possible suspect. a man in his mid 30's, but they did not share any other details about what he looks like. an update now to a story that we first brought you yesterday at 5, 3, people including a firefighter were taken to the hospital after a house fire in discovery bay. the fire started just before 5 o'clock yesterday. this is video of the smoke sent to us by a viewer. the east contra costa fire protection district arrived to find a 2 story home up in flames. crews were able to put the fire out. but the house was damaged. one firefighter was injured while responding 2 of the houses. residents were also taken to the hospital as a precaution. 5 people are displaced by this fire. the cause still under investigation. >> former u.s. representative doug ose see is ending his campaign for governor in next month's

yes, san bruno mountain kind of shrouded in the low clouds or this morning just like it was yesterday morning. it's back to the low gray. we go. and even more of it this morning than what we saw yesterday. we can thank it for the cooler feel that we've got this afternoon, though. you look outside at san jose this morning shows you the low lying cloud cover that still persists overhead even as far inland as the south bay. so that's something that we're seeing a lot across the bay area. little bit of a lower cloudy blanket near the coast and us that chance of some drizzle. once you head further inland generally that cloud cover sitting a bit higher in the horizon. low pressure area continues to steer its way across the region nudging out firmly that high pressure ridge. now allowing us this cool down the return of marine air in creating enough lift. the air quality is improving rapidly across the central valley after wildfire smoke had been settling down over the past few days for some of our inland areas, 50's and 60's for your highs in san francisco today. it 60's right along the coas
