temperatures are going to start off in the 40s throughout the bay area, so another chilly start with 44 in the east bay. san francisco, 47 in the north bay, 43. daytime highs will be in the 60s to 70 across the bay area. the warmest san jose 70, napa 67. san francisco right here at 64. but rain chances. this is the good stuff here. we're still hanging on to the possibility, even though we had that strong storm a couple weeks ago that did dump historic rain on the north bay. a lot of the east bay, south bay and peninsula could use more rainfall, and we're going to stay dry this weekend. we'll stay dry, it looks like, all the way through next thursday, december the 1h. but there could be a system developing out here offshore by next thursday that could have an atmospheric river with it. and we likely would see that storm door open back up december the 14th through the 18th. some of the early estimates are showing a half to one inch, maybe even more than that. so we're going to be all over this and we'll have those details as we get closer. but at least another storm before christmas would be awesome to get back on the

rain for us across the san francisco bay area and it will be a series. the next one pops in.aturday saturday. probably the wettest day just before sunrise on saturday. you see widespread sunday. i think we get a bit of a break. so that's good news to get a chance to breathe a little bit. and then incomes monday's storm. so it's going to be quite an interesting series. it's nothing as dramatic as rain we saw a few weeks ago that were tied to a big atmospheric river. but still, we get pretty impressive rainfall totals after the first storm overnight tonight into tomorrow. we'll see maybe a half an inch of rain in livermore and in vacaville, you get closer to santa rosa, maybe 9 tenths of an inch of rain. and then we put in motion. you'll see over time it starts to improve an increase specially across the north bay by saturday evening are being pushing close to 3 inches of rain and in san francisco, one and 2 thirds inches pushing up toward 2 inches by the time we get through all that. so we've got quite a bit of rain in our direction. temperatures will drop a little bit. so if

we have moderate air quality in many parts of the bay area from san francisco to oakland up to sausalitosa, though, has good air quality. still. so does fairfield. so does redwood city. so what we need to get rid of this moderate air quality. this is the kind of thing where if you've got someone who's elderly or a child, you don't want to do a lot of outdoor exertion with this kind of air quality, but the way to get rid of it, there's one way. how about some brisk sea breezes? well, we've got some pretty brisk winds and west marin county, especially around the deck of a at 23 mile per hour gusts. you'll notice the wind bars indicate breezes will start to shift around. we're starting to see breezes now out of the ocean, which is great news, not will start to make things a little bit better to breed. you'll notice these are not strong winds except earlier in the day, but mostly below 10 mile per hour gusts. so at least this at moderate sea breeze. another way to get rid of that terrible air quality. how about some rain? that's what we get so far. high pressure is kept things. all the storm
