giants begin their journey to defend their world championship. they left san francisco after sweeping the a's in the bay bridge series. brandon is starting on first base. bay area fans can watch the game on the jumbotron at at&t park. doors open at 4:00 p.m. >>> different kind of baseball story here, after two weeks, prosecutors in the barry bonds trial is about to close their case. randy vilarde took the stand and testified that he bought steroids from bonds' personal trainer, greg anderson but he said he had no firsthand knowledge of bonds and steroids. bonds is accused of lying to a grand jury when he testified that he never knowingly took drugs. a judge has thrown out a marijuana case saying he doesn't believe the san francisco police officers that was involved in the arrest of a richmond district man. security video appears to contradict testimony from three plainclothes officers that say they received permission to enter the premises. the video showing them opening the garage doors. a public defender says it shows police barging into the apartment. they testified
