san francisco. the san mateo bridge looking good, not too many taillights. pretty typical for this time of the morning. we will keep a close eye on everything else as we move through the morning. >>> going to start out by getting specific on when to expect the most impressive reign of the day. we are going to look at the forecast in a unique way. this is today's rain chance. see how i have the hours of the morning going across the bottom of the screen? for each one of those time frames i put in there with a% chance for rain at that hour. everybody look at 11 o'clock. that is clearly the highlight for today. not the only time we will be getting rain. but 11 o'clock is when the vast, heaviest and widespread rain comes through. not exactly at 11, but in that window. really owing you to think about from 7 am to 1 o'clock. that is when this storm is going to give us it's really well organized line of rain. that will come through and it will get the streets wet, slow the drive down a bit, but it won't be prolonged downpours. the good thing about today's rain, look at the afternoon. by the time we get to like 1 o'clock or 2 o'clock, the rain is pretty much going to stop. we will get a nice little break. this will be a very neat storm. by that, i mean it's going to come in and one well-defined timeframe and is going to get out of here. you will have a blue sky by the end of the day in the rain will come back by later tonight. first of all, here is the here and now. there are a few light showers on the drive. this would be up on 101 as you get up in the marin and approached the sonoma county line. we are south of petaluma seeing rain on 101 that has been pretty persistent for the rest of the morning. that has been the only place. if we take a look outside with the roadways, there is no drop of rain on the golden gate bridge yet. let's watch the timeframe going into the morning. that brings us ahead to the 6 o'clock hour. we are already starting to see showers approach. in the 7 o'clock hour you can see hype at that time frame on their from 8 am to 11. watch live. there we go, that was the wave of rain, i just stopped here at noon. while noon, it's still raining at the heaviest of the rain has moved into the east bay and it's working it's way over past mount diablo going into the valley. by the time we get to 1 o'clock, this is the start. 1:35 is the start time of the giants game. we cannot rule out the fact that we have got some rain left over here at 1 o'clock. but once we get to the 2 o'clock hour, it's gone. in fact, this gets us to three and this is where you will get your rakes. if you're lucky enough to be thinking of going to the game, go. you may get delayed a little bit. by the fourth or fifth inning, it will be a good day for baseball. even if it is a little delayed. that covers the morning. there is a forecast by the way on the game. we're taking a look down from our camera meeting is on top of the salesforce tower. we are looking over oracle park, a shower perhaps at one. let's look ahead now, because there will be another wave of rain that comes in after our blue sky afternoon. look at the timeframe here 1 o'clock tomorrow morning, which means saturday morning we will see a wave of rain come through from 1 am to 7 am. we feel little bit of a break and there'll be a few more showers for saturday. the thing about saturday is, keep in mind we will have a few scattered showers on their throughout the day on saturday. it shouldn't be anything like a washout. the rest of the seven day forecast, sunday is the best looking day on here and we get monday and there is another chance for a few slip light scattered showers monday, but monday's rain is not going to look like that big of a deal. either way, just to get you ready for sunrise, that's coming up at six: 49 this morning. sunset will happen at 7:35. >>> check this out, a mashup between a scooter and a jetski called the scoot ski. the guy who owns it lives near fresno. the scoot ski goes up to 70 miles per hour. it is pretty fast and street legal. but it does not work on water. he writes this thing anywhere and everywhere, even on the highway. >> i can't even say that, scoot ski. >> it's so strange. >>> the time now is 5:51. the wildlife warning in santa clara county. so many coyotes and mountain lions are suddenly coming out of the woods. >> here is a look at the richmond sanridge, to simone, i leave the van gogh. to harrison, the wine collection. grace, you get the beach house, just don't leave the lights on, okay? to mateo, my favorite chair. to chris, the family recipes. to craig, this rock. to jamie, well, let's just say, enjoy the ride. the redwoods to the redheads. the rainbows to the proud. the almonds to walter. the beaches to the bums. and the fog to, who else, karl. i leave these things to my heirs, all 39 million of you, on one condition. that you do everything in your power to preserve and protect them. with love, california.
