the warriors are back in action against the nuggets on friday in san francisco's aktas ktvu back studios, berkeley unified school board voted to raise teacher's salaries 12% over the next two years. that is just one provision of a new teacher's contract. it increases pay for educators by 6% this academic year and then an additional 6% next year. it is the largest pay raise for teachers since 2019 in the district, among other new benefits for teachers are lower healthcare costs and smaller class sizes. each classroom will now hold just 27 students. for elementary schools for the month of october is dedicated to helping end domestic violence. community organizations across the bay area working together to raise awareness about the signs of abuse and ways to stop it. a candlelight vigil is set for tomorrow night in fremont in memory of those lost to domestic violence earlier today on the four we heard from a bay area woman who works with a local organization aimed at supporting domestic violence victims, she says immigrants are especially vulnerable. if our survivors are dependent on the abuse of for their immigration st
