san jose a tenth of an inch. closing in on an inch of rain. about 2 inches of snow in the sierra. the showers right now moving away from san francisco and out towards the tri-valley. we've been watching some of that down towards hayward right now. a good sell there. another shower there leaving san mateo heading towards union city. the next band will cross over the top of the santa cruz mountains and give san jose another opportunity to see a little bit of light rain. snow levels dropping close to 6,000 feet this evening. the moisture will decrease as we go through tonight. still a chance of an isolated shower or two. the trend for sunday afternoon, the showers shut down. winds pick up. northwest winds 10 to 20 miles an hour. breezy and a cool day around the bay area. decreasing overnight to some areas of clouds, cool temperatures for your morning heading into the afternoon with the winds out of the northwest. that'll be kwocooler, drier air. upper 60s to near 70 in san jose. mid 60s closer to the coastline. tri-valley, low 70s. north bay, upper 60s to low 70s. notice the clouds there towards the end of the week. more on that coming
