obvious le not everyone in san mateo works for facebook. but point out san mateo countysheriff's deputies are the highest paid in northern california. contract says they always have to make 1% more than any other share river's department in the bay area, no matter what. now that same bls report took i look at unemployment around the bay area. unemployment in san jose under 7%. san francisco better, 6.2%. that number counts oakland to fremont as well. elsewhere, modesto, 15% joblessness. talk about how well we're doing. tus ka loose, alabama, better than the bay area. iowa city, iowa, and many cities in utah with incredibly low unemployment, down in the 3%. those are crazy numbers. economists call four or five percent full unemployment, 3% a problem. it's too low. that low people move from job to job because companies fight for employees and that drives up wages. that sounds good but up go home prices, inflation, a serious issue as well. now some of the towns are college towns, those ten to rise, increase the amount of jobs. again that's something towns have to work with.
