abc 7 news meteorologist sandhya patel is here, and sandhya, the winds were howling in some parts last night. >> they sure were, ama and dan. let me show show you how strong those winds were. mt. diablo, 75 miles an hour. even at the lower elevations like oakland airport, 58. concord, 40 miles an hour. the red flag warning remains up through 5:00 p.m. tomorrow through the north and east bay hills because of gusty winds and low humidity. this is like desert dry. single digit humidity for some areas so extreme fire danger and certainly possible. take a look at the fire danger index in the north bay tomorrow at 6:00. you'll notice high to very high extreme fire danger. even in the east bay hills as we head into 3:00 a.m. tomorrow as that next burst of winds develops although they won't be as strong as what we experienced in the last 24 hours, the fire danger will be subsiding as we head towards 6:00 tomorrow night. hour by hour the wind as you'll notice 2:00 a.m., 27 mile an hour winds. those gusty winds with us tomorrow morning. calestoga area 9:00 a.m., and then the winds begin to ease

meteorologist sandhya patel joins us with more. sandhya? >> who is counting? kristen and larry, it will be gorgeous weather. it's already nice outside. we're starting to see minor changes and that's in the form of some patches of fog right along the coastline. you will see two locations with some fog now. we're not expecting it to be wide spread but it's a subtle change. beautiful view from the camera we're seeing blue skies over san francisco where it is 67 degrees and upper 70s, mountain view, oakland and 76 in san jose. here is a view from the santa cruz camera. i get the sense it's calling nothing but sunshine. 81 santa rosa and 83 fairfield. the warmest spots in the low 80s. 79 in concord. here is a nice view with the flag barry blowing so we have a gentle breeze out there, mainly clear and chilly overnight. mild to warm fall days through the weekend and looking at beautiful weather for halloween. that's something spencer would say, i think. here is a look at the halloween forecast. 6:00 you'll notice it's still really mild. mid 60s to mid 70s, ghostly cl

meteorologist sandhya patel is tracking it, of course, very closely. we need more of a break. >> we do, dan. and i think we'll see some improvement this weekend. the smoke is not going to leave us entirely. so let me show you a very hazy view right now from our mount tam cam. 81 degrees in san francisco. still warm in oakland. 92 in san jose and in gilroy. south beach cameras showing a very fuzzy view of the bay bridge as we are being impacted by smoke from the fires to our north. not just the glass fire but the august glass fire as well. still warm in concord and livermore and the low 90s. look at our air quality. it is just awful. red and even some magenta and burgundy. we're looking at unhealthy air quality, napa, san rafael, livermore. it is hazardous in ukiah and san francisco into fremont. poor for sensitive groups. best to stay inside and avoid the smoke. poor for sensitive groups in the santa cruz area as well. here's a look at the hour by hour forecast. it will be bad going into tomorrow. but tomorrow night, notice most of that pink, which is
