that's just off highway 1, 1, near the santa rosa dmv. police say the 15 year-old victim was shown found shot lying in a parking lot. investigation revealed according to police that a group of young men were standing in the parking lot when someone opened fire on them, which ended up killing the boy. detectives say they're still looking for additional witnesses in this case in the south bay, 12 alleged gang members are now in custody for crimes that include attempted murder, armed robbery, assault, possession of firearms and narcotics. san jose police say 9 adults and 3 teenagers were arrested as part of a monthslong investigation. the youngest alleged gang member arrested is only 16. now. this investigation again shows the tenacity of our detectives only follow up and investigate types of crimes, but then work with our special operations personnel. >> work with the court system to obtain warrants for these people's and after identifying them taking him into custody safely without incident. >> the 9 adults were booked into the santa clara
