santa barbara authorities say four people were taking pictures on a train trestle saturday when the train began to approach-- the group tried to outrun it but three of them were struck. one woman died at the scene. a male and second female were taken to the hospital with injuries. the fourth person was not hurt. the minimum wage in mountain view is on it's way up. the city council approved the increase to ten-thirty an hour on thursday. but they also voted to raise minimum wage to fifteen dollars an hour. by twenty-eighteen. california's current minimum wage is nine dollars. that will rise to ten in twenty-sixteen. police in daly city say they're cracking down on underage drinking. and the city council may approve a new law that allows police to fine the hosts of house parties. this would be in cases where there is drinking or unruliness. the fine would be fifteen- hundred dollars for the first offense. but the second time it bumps up to two-thousand dollars. the city council is set to vote tomorrow. as begins in the afternoon the clouds will thicken. the main band of rain hangs out of th
