because, morgan hill, in the southern part of santa clara county, is right on the very northern edge of that stream. it is really focused down in monterey county. but, here at home, this is the part of the southernmost edge of the bay area that should hunker down and expect it to look, feel, and sounds just like this, for the next 24 hours if not more. we will see what the high resolution forecast models paul will share with you coming up later have to say about that. look at the rainfall totals we have already gotten. when you look at the big numbers that show up there, four inches in boulder creek, that is up in the santa cruz mountains. a lot of that is from yesterday. and, a lot of that is also because you are up in the mountains. the mountains will always get a lot more rain. where i am standing now, in morgan hill, we have gotten almost 3 1/4 inches of rain. entering the low lands we have a lot more to go, with this, still. we will take a look at that whole pattern, and why it is such a unique set up, and why atmospheric rivers are worth paying attention to. all right, guys, bac
