deep southeast breeze in the santa clara valley versus a northwest. that makes a huge difference on the temperatures. we cooled down nicely overnight. 55 degrees now with a scent of garlic coming up from gilroy and that's exactly what happens. you get that southeast breeze coming in from gilroy and morgan hill. yesterday at this time san jose had a northwest. 53 cool degrees in gilroy. 56 san jose and even in the santa cruz mountains. everyone's pretty close here. 50s for most locations to the low 60s. they're down to almost 40 degrees compared to the highs yesterday and the lows. rio vista at 100 and now they're 61. that's a 39-degree drop. low clouds continue to march up the coast and filling in quite well locally. water temps have gone down a little bit. bodega bay yesterday afternoon was 55 and today they're 56. davis have a west southwest delta wind or sea breeze. look for the low clouds to stick and stay a little longer today. it's going to eventually dive into nevada. and then a warm up on the weekend. we'll show you that in a second. 60s to 90
