they are just now starting to clear the santa clara valley and if we come in for a close- up look you see the showers are pretty much going down 101 and toward morgan hill and gilroy. if we change our perspective, here are the mountains getting rained on, there's highway 17 is a goes over the summit getting rain, but if we look on the other side of the santa clara valley on the southern edge of the diablo range, first alert doppler is able to read how this turns to snow at this point up around like 3500 feet. if we look right here, that's the ridgetop around hamilton where the lick observatory is and you can kind of see highway 130 snaking its way to the ridge so they are getting light snow, i checked in on the cameras in there pretty much iced over. man's hamiltonon average gets a foot and ofsnow ever you spre february is the month where you would expect to see that the most so that's not out of the ordinary. seeing it down on highway 17 on friday was. this is the rain we got so far today and this is pretty much all we are getting, the system is done and the showers will one down and
