i am sarah caldwell. we begin with breaking news in baltimore county. capt. roy taylor and sky team 11 over the scene of a police- involved shooting. >> this started out as an arm robbery that took place in the balkans district in baltimore county. -- wilkins district in baltimore county. the suspect was waving his gun outside the car. baltimore county units, baltimore city units, anne arundel county units, and maryland state police -- we counted as many as 50 police cars involved with this chase. the suspect and a traveling into the area of baltimore by land -- baltimore highlands and was apprehended at the location shots were fired and the suspect was hit in the leg. the suspect was transported to shock trauma for the injuries received from the gunshots. there is a lot going on here. we are trying to get the information and piece together what happened. we will have more on this at 5:00. >> now to our big story at noon. the u.s. held a ceremony in baghdad to market the end of the military mission in iraq. nearly 4500 u.s. soldiers lost their lives since the

i am sarah caldwell. we begin with breaking news. sky team 11 over the scene of a pepper spraying incident in a high school. capt. roy, what can you tell us? >> about 30 minutes ago, they had at some types of pepper spray and incident at this location. baltimore county police are on the scene, and the fire department responded. when they got here, at least 13 kids had been overcome by pepper spray. they have requested a medical task force. we have six medical units to treat the kids that were overcome by the pepper spray. they may be transporting as many as eight to 10 children to nearby hospitals. the entire school has been evacuated. an investigation is ongoing. as soon as we get more information, we will update you. >> we appreciate that. now to our other big story, occupy baltimore evicted. occupy protesters were forced from mckeldin square, and as kim dacey reports, they went without a fight. >> 3: 15 tuesday morning, baltimore police made their move. they blocked off roads around at mckeldin square where occupy protesters have

i am sarah caldwell. breaking news in the 11 news room -- a police officer in a pennsylvania has been hurt in a car crash that led into maryland. capt. roy taylor and sky team 11 is over the scene with more. >> from what we understand, this vehicle was involved in some type of criminal activity. state police started to pursue the vehicle. the passenger in the car ended up bailing out, but operator of the vehicle continued southbound on i-83, trying to exit at the maryland line exit, and was going too fast, loss control, jumped our guard rail and a five-foot fence. the passenger of the car that the state police were chasing was injured and taken to a local hospital. maryland state police will be handling the incident. baltimore county police are on the scene assisting. the search goes on for the passenger of the vehicle. reporting live with sky team 11, i am captain roy taylor. >> onto a big story, two former penn state administrators are in the pretrial hearing in the jerry sandusky sexual abuse allegatio

i am sarah caldwell. the jury in the paul schurick robocall trial has reached a verdict. jane miller has the late breaking details. >> the jury has found paul schurick his guilty on all four counts in this case involving those robocalls that were sent out to about 112,000 voters in prince george's county in november of 2010. the counts concern fraud -- the use of fraud to influence voters decision to go to the polls and a lack of an authority lying on the robocalls. all types of campaign messages are supposed to have an authority line that identify the source of the call. the call that went out did not have that authority line. the use of fraud to influence the voters' decisions -- that account has a sentence of a maximum of five years in jail. the authority line count, which is the other part of this case, has a maximum sentence of one year in jail. sentencing is not today but it will not come today. there will be a pre-sentencing investigation. sentencing will come on february 16 for paul schurick. that is exactly the time when the other half of this case will go forwar
